A solo show of Sargood's recent abstract drawings and paintings. The artist uses a variety of media, techniques and marks to create elaborate metaphors for how cultures interact: broken, halting lines of oil bar; delicate traceries of ballpoint pen; overlapping grids of dripped watercolor—all combine to render cultures in collision or reveal the various forces at play within a culture.
