Our 2016 Gala promises to be an elegant and exciting evening. We will continue our tradition of Live and Silent Auctions that offer sought-after and exclusive items and experiences, as well as our Art Auction featuring renown artists for which the Art Center has become known.
In addition to the auctions, this year you will be able to roll the dice, both figuratively and literally at a handful casino tables which will feature a number of coveted “High Roller" prizes.
This is your chance to get dolled up in your finest attire, and we invite guests to dress on theme in black and white. The annual Helen Day Gala continues to be the premiere event in Stowe that showcases our community’s love of the arts and sophisticated culture.

I was born in Southern Vermont, to a mother who could find a treasure at any flea market and a father who turned hats out of wood. Creating seemed inevitable in my family, remarkable or not, we all, my three siblings included, derived pleasure from the process. Whether giving birth to my daughters, Francis and Coco, returning to my Vermont roots after 10 years in NYC or capturing a moment in time through a lens, life is about moving forward to become better and to create along the way. The power of a camera and the eternity of a photo, allow us to hold onto time. Today I find my inspiration from youth and food. They go hand and hand I suppose.
Dusty Boynton's "Family Outing" will be our featured Live Auction artwork and her piece "Not Fully Committed" will be part of our Silent Auction.
