For 30 years, Helen Day Art Center has been building community through art related activities. With your help, Helen Day Art Center grants scholarships for art classes. You also expand our children's horizons through visits to our galleries. Donations provide financial assistance to cover transportation costs for field trips. We collaborate with schools from all over Vermont for docent led tours and workshops. You can also help local Artists by sponsoring a show or collaborate with the community by sponsoring an evening of public programs during an exhibition.

Make a Planned Gift to Helen Day Art Center

Though we conduct fund raising campaigns annually, planned giving and bequests are avenues through which you can include Helen Day Art Center in your estate plan.

One of the simplest and most personal forms of making a planned gift is through a will.  These gifts can have a critical impact on Helen Day Art Center, aiding with present and future needs.  Bequests open the opportunity for leadership level giving for the Center while simultaneously reducing estate taxes.

While bequests are the most traditional means of planned giving, including HDAC as a partial beneficiary of your retirement plan or life insurance policy is equally effective.  Through our partnership with Vermont Community Foundation, we are also able to create charitable gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts (life income gifts) for donors.

Planned gifts may grow the endowment or be designated as unrestricted which enables the Center to meet mission and program goals as needed.
